What locals are saying
Quarterman Park — known to nearly every Park Circle local simply as the Duck Pond — is a 7.5-acre passive park anchored by a fountain-fed pond teeming with ducks, geese, swans, and the occasional turtle. Mature oaks shade the paved walking loop, and on any given morning you'll find neighbors fishing, feeding birds, or just sitting on a concrete bench doing nothing in particular. It's not trying to be anything beyond a calm, walkable neighborhood green — and that's exactly the point.
