What locals are saying
Poke Tea House has been anchoring the Spring Street corridor since 2016 — one of the first spots in Charleston to take the build-your-own poke format seriously, and still the benchmark locals measure everyone else against. The ahi tuna and salmon are reliably fresh, the avocados are somehow always perfectly ripe, and the poke burrito holds up as a legitimate format choice alongside the bowl. The boba program — Thai milk tea especially — pulls its own weight, which is rarer than it sounds in a city where bubble tea is often an afterthought.
