What locals are saying
Station 25 sits in Sullivan's Island's mid-island stretch — close enough to the handful of restaurants on Middle Street to make it a logical anchor for a full beach day. Its elevated path holds up better than most after heavy Lowcountry rain, earning a quiet reputation among regulars who know to head here when other stations flood out. It's also one of only three spots on the entire island permitted for beach fires (October through April), which gives it a distinct off-season character that few casual visitors realize.

Station 25 draws people for its long, shaded boardwalk and the payoff at the end — a wide-open beach framed directly by the Sullivan's Island Lighthouse. The walk is longer than most island access points, but the tree canopy earns consistent appreciation, and the elevated path keeps it usable after heavy rain. Parking is tight enough that regulars know to travel light.
