What locals are saying
Station 24 sits in what locals consider the sweet spot of Sullivan's Island — central enough to be close to Middle Street's restaurants, but far enough east of the Station 22 cluster to keep the crowds manageable. Street parking along Station 24 and nearby blocks tends to hold a little longer into summer mornings than the more popular southern stations, though it's still a race on peak weekends. The boardwalk path to the sand winds through native vegetation and dunes, and the beach itself opens wide, with clean sightlines toward Fort Sumter — no hotels, no vendors, no concession stands in any direction.
