What locals are saying
Folly Beach's only oceanfront bar and restaurant leans hard into its own mythology — pink Cadillac booths, a pink pool table, pinball machines, and a custom mural give the space a kitschy, surf-nostalgic energy that earns it the title of Folly's living room. The menu swings between coastal bar staples (crab cake sammies, shrimp and steak tacos, stone-baked pizzas) and frozen riffs like the Pool Boy and a Hugo Spritz knockoff called the Hu-go Girl. Despite sitting on arguably the best piece of real estate on the island — front-row views of the Folly Pier, live music most nights — the place ranks near the bottom of Folly dining lists, suggesting the concept outpaces the kitchen's execution for now.
