What locals are saying
Orange Spot has anchored Park Circle since 2013, and the origin story still drives the menu: owner Julie's affection for Cha Yen — Thai sweet iced tea, orange in color — gives the shop its name and its signature drink. House-made syrups (lavender, toasted pecan) and Springbok-roasted beans keep the coffee program above the neighborhood-café baseline, while daily quiches with a legitimately flaky crust — mushroom gruyère, feta spinach — make the food worth ordering. The room is deliberately small: four tables, a few sofas, a maple-shaded patio, and enough regulars that it functions less like a café and more like a Park Circle living room.
